| Home | Welome! After many years playing pool or Billiards if you will, I Have decided to share my Wealth of information to the public. Why? well after alot of reaserch and spending thousands of dollars on instruction, I learned all your really going to get is BASICS..... Thats fine for most people but What about a Player who want to take thier game to the next level? Well you CAN hire a professional pool Player for help, but likely all your going to get is BASICS. People who teach advanced Lessons are really hard to find, and most who teach can only take your game so far.. They either dont know or will not teach you more than BASICS. What is important? Im going to go over certain aspects of the game, whitch I feel are important. I may address some basic material, but the majority of information you will recieve is ADVANCED and very hard to find. I will cover what most instructors RUN from, The MENTAL GAME, EYE Patterns, Grip, and Stroke. I will also describe how it all works together to enter what I call DEAD STROKE. This is a state of mind a serious player enters to perform like a MACHINE!
How many players do you know that are bound to percentages? What I mean is that you see players playing flawlessly and all of a sudden they miss a shot that should have been duck soup or they end up playing position so badly they cannot get out. They are falling victim to percentages. It's a mental block that pressures players into missing. I can teach any player to overcome this block by helping them develop the mental and physical toughness to overcome this unnecessary feeling we all have as players Any player can do this but it takes discipline and hard work to develop all the tools necessary to become a champion. You must teach yourself muscle memory to help control the adrenaline when it comes to you. You must teach your mind to control the nervousness through controlled breathing so that you are able to be still. Recognize the eerie feeling as a positive boost and amplify its effects by letting it flow. This is the fine line between a champion and a good player, a good player can run out just about whenever there is an opportunity and the game is going their way, but when pressure rears its ugly head, most players give in to the idea they have reached their limits and fall short of becoming a champion or it may be a novice trying to run their first rack, no matter what the skill level of a player all can achieve the power of a champion where you take it is up to you. This is just a small part of what a champion can do and how they are set apart from the rest. breaking news! Shaq plays pool?
NEW ORLEANS - Shaquille O’Neal and Reggie Bush have teamed up to host a party on the weekend of the NBA All-Star game to raise money for various charities in New Orleans. “This whole weekend is about people being in New Orleans for New Orleans,” O’Neal said in a statement Tuesday. “We wanted to show people coming together, celebrating what has been done and remembering that there’s still a lot to do.” A perennial NBA All-Star with the Miami Heat, O’Neal graduated from LSU and returns regularly to southern Louisiana. Bush recently completed his second season with the New Orleans Saints after being their top draft choice when the NFL team returned to the city after being displaced one season following Hurricane Katrina. The fundraiser, called the Big Easy Billiards Bash, will be held in a downtown hotel ballroom on Feb. 15, two days before the All-Star game. It includes a pool tournament and an auction. Charities slated to benefit include A Child’s Wish, the Father T Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. “This is a great city with great people,” Bush said in the statement. “With the corporate and media attention that New Orleans will get during the NBA All-Star game, I wanted to make sure that there was a focus on helping the people that will be here when the parties and games are over.”

Billiards was the first sport to have a world championship (1873). In 1765 A.D., the first billiard room was built in England. Played there was One-Pocket, which was a table with one pocket and four balls. At times, including during the Civil War, billiard results received wider coverage than war news. Players were so renowned that cigarette cards were issued featuring them. Tables originally had flat vertical walls for rails and their only function was to keep the balls from falling off. They resembled riverbanks and even used to be called "banks". Players discovered that ballscould bounce off the rails NEW!!! ARTICLES AND VIDEOS FROM DR. DAVE!!
